BARRY BRAUCHER Obituary
Age 77, of North Canton, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 28, 1943 in North Canton, a son of the late Carl and Essie (Cox) Braucher, and was a life resident. Barry was a 1961 graduate of North Canton High School. He retired in 2005 as owner of Alpha Construction Co., which he and his brother, Ronald, founded in 1970. Barry and his wife Linda wintered in Naples, Fl over 20 years, where he enjoyed golfing. Barry was a member of North Canton Church of Christ. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and going to their sporting events.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda J. Braucher; daughter, Kristen Sims; and his brother, Ronald Braucher. Barry is survived by his wife, Linda K. Braucher, with whom he would have celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary on August 24th.; two sons, Michael (Jodi) Braucher and Mark (Kathy) Braucher; a step-daughter, Amy Yannone (Tim Oser); his son-in-law, Bill Sims; and grandchildren: Morgan, Kyle, Zac, Maya and Tyson Braucher, Alexandra, Curtis, Anna, Olivia and Marie Sims, and Taylor Oser.
Services will be held on his 78th birthday, Monday at 11 a.m. in the North Canton Church of Christ with Minister Ted Blackwood officiating. Friends may call Sunday 5-8 p.m. at the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Condolences may be sent to: www.gordonfuneralhomes
