Barry W. Dunsworth

Barry Ward Dunsworth, 73, of Kalkaska, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 1, 1952, in Pendleton, Oregon, to the late Lewis and Gladys (Fox) Dunsworth. Barry spent much of his life in Oklahoma before moving to Kalkaska to be closer to his family. He was a dedicated and hardworking man, spending many years driving truck for General Inc. and later working for Harper County in Oklahoma. In his free time, Barry enjoyed the outdoors-fishing, camping, and traveling. He also had a passion for car racing and cherished simple moments of peace, often sitting quietly in the sunshine. Those who knew Barry will remember not only his stubborn streak but also the loyalty and steadfastness that came with it. Barry will be lovingly remembered by his children Misty (Brian) Woodard and Amanda (Tanner) Campbell; grandchildren Whitney, Brooklyn, Montana, Danielle, Austin, Clayton, Cody and Casha; great-grandchildren Hudson, Paxton and Anna; siblings Janet, Betty and Linda. He was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
