I met Barry through my association with A.A. In Hayward, WI. He was a fine man, finer than many. We became fast friends, having traveled to many A.A. events throughout the region over the years, enjoying each others jovial company. I will miss not seeing or hearing from him ... "We shall be with you in the Fellowship of the Spirit, and you will surely meet some of us as you trudge the Road of Happy Destiny. May God bless you and keep you - until then." My sincere condolences to his family.

I met Barry in the Fall of 1958 - we were entering Illinois Institute of Technology to study engineering. We both pledged the same fraternity which formed the starting line for our dedicated and strong friendship which which has lasted until now. We, of course, physically went separate directions. I married my wife in spring 1963 and Barry was in our wedding; he married lovely and wonderful Karen that Fall; but since I was now out in Pensylvania and I unable to get back for their wedding.
We have kept in touch from a distance all these years. We met personally on a few occasions. I have respected him all these years for his personal life and commitments to it. He and I had kinda similar professional careers and we both did well; amazing what ethics and honesty will do! He and I used to talk about that.
I met Karen many years ago; she is such a wonderful and beautiful person; and it has been so great for them both.
May God keep His blessings for Barry up in Heaven and for Karen here on earth as well.
(I have gotten very much into photography and wiill lsee if I can find one of from a few yers back and add it).
