Barry Todd Key, 56, of Parrish, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at UAB Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation with family will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. services will follow at 12:00 p.m. Brandon Jackson will officiate.
Mr. Key was preceded in death by his Parents-Norman L. "Bill" Key and Lennetta Y. Key; Mother-in-law-Marie Batchelor; Grandparents-Joseph Key and Delphina Key Haynes and Otis Key and Annie Mae Key Franklin.
He is survived by his Wife of 30 years-Sharon Batchelor Key; Daughter-Anna Grace Key (Christian Posey); Brother-Larry N. Key (Willneysa Gardner); Sister-in-law- Karen Shumate (Heath); Brothers-in-law-Robert "Bob" Batchelor and Michael Batchelor (Beth); Father-in-law-William R. "Bill" Batchelor (Kaye); Nephews-Cory Key (Micaela), Case Key (Mary Beth), Logan Shumate (Amie), Landon Shumate; Niece-Sarah South (Nick); Beloved pets-Charli, Millie & Frankie.
Barry also leaves behind his church family at Hatt Church of Christ, his work family at Continental Conveyor where he worked for 30 years. His musician family whom he played with for over 30 years and a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
