Barry Levine Obituary

Barry was born and raised in Malden, the dear son of the late Dorothy (Freeman) & Melvin Levine. Barry was retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a supervisor after 31 years of service. Barry was an avid sports fan, especially of his beloved Celtics. He was also an avid bowler.
He was the loving brother of Carol & her husband John Cerasuolo of Palm Harbor FL, Rhonda & her husband Robert Orecchio of Clearwater, FL, and the late Joel Levine. He is also survived by his loving nephews David Cinelli of Melrose MA and Zachary Orecchio and his wife Jessica Vargas of Tampa FL, and his loving niece Jennifer Orecchio and her husband Almir Casaes of Tampa, FL, and his great niece Alessandra Casaes.
Services at the Goldman Funeral Chapel 174 Ferry Street (off Route 60), Malden on Tuesday, June 27 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Shara Tfilo Cemetery, West Roxbury.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to High Pointe House 360 North Ave. Haverhill, MA 01830.

Barry and myself spent 25 years together as Supervisors at the GMF plant for the USPS and I could always count on him by my side. We both loved the Celtics and he always talked about Friday night bowling. Though we were the softball under dogs, Barry never gave up the faith. I´ll hit the Kowloon in your honor my friend.

Dearest Carol and family, I just came across this news of Barry, and I am completely shocked. I believe the last time I saw him was in the Continental before covid. He was way too young to leave this world, but, you know Barry, he never wasted a minute on anything. He had, and will forever, a loving family, as I can attest to all these years, and I know he is enveloped with love with your mom, dad, and Joel. Saddened to hear of Barry´s passing...I worked with him for many years with USPS and enjoyed our mutual love of basketball and of course the Celtics...RIP Barry...Condolences to your family ....
