Barry Mindler Obituary
Born on August 2, 1947, in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Milton Paul and Mildred (Flores) Mindler.
After receiving his formal education in Bethlehem schools, Barry went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge from the military, he went on to work for Bethlehem Steel and Lehigh Heavy Forge, until retiring from both companies.
Outside of work he was a triathlon runner who enjoyed working out and swimming at the YMCA, as well as playing bingo.
Barry held active memberships with The Jeffs, Wanderers, Eagles, and the West Side Republican Club.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son: Barry P. Mindler, Jr; three brothers: Donald, Richard, and Lamar; and one sister: Gloria.
Barry will be lovingly remembered by his wife: Ann (Russ) Mindler; sister: Doris Brantley; caregiver: Amy Rosamilia; daughter-in-law: Shannon van Horn; sister-in-law Sally Russ; two granddaughters: Sky Mindler and Ashley Rosamilia; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In keeping with Barry's final wishes, services will be private.
Interment will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
Arrangements are under the care of the Connell Funeral Home, Inc.
