Barry G. Pynn, 78, longtime resident of Milford, NH, died at his home on Sunday, November 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on November 10, 1947, in Meredith, NH, a son of the late Leander and Ruth (Bennett) Pynn.
Barry graduated from Riverview High School class of 1965 in Sarasota, FL. He would later attend and graduate from Rivier University with a bachelors in 1982
He worked for about 17 years at Kollsman in Merrimack and 19 years at Sanders Associates, now known as BAE. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed time spent golfing, woodworking, traveling and most importantly spending time with his family.
Barry is survived by his loving wife, Lea Pynn of Milford, NH, his children, Stephanie Pynn - Baron of Merrimack, NH, Dennis and his wife MaryAnne Shepard of Amherst, NH, Lisa and her husband Matthew Carl of Milford, NH, Matthew Pynn of Mont Vernon, NH, Tyson and his wife Eleanor Pynn of Milford, NH, Branden Pynn of Merrimack, NH. Nine grandchildren, Jacob Carl, Connor Baron, Seth Baron, Jared Carl, William Shepard, Colin Pynn, Joseph Shepard, Raymond Pynn and Cassandra Pynn Barry. Two great grandchildren Mason and Ryan Carl and his sister, Sherry Forde of Sarasota,FL. and brother Thomas Pynn of Phoenix AZ.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Burial will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Barry can be made to the American Cancer Society
