Barry Scott Obituary

Mr. Scott was born on July 16, 1953, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Lavonda Ruth Dennison Scott and Joseph Elkin Scott. In his fulfilling life, Barry worked as a union pipe fitter for Local 72 for many years. He loved his family and his favorite dog, "Buddy". He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Barry is preceded in death by his brothers, Gary Scott and Dale Scott.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Charlene Scott of Ellijay; son, Travis Barry Scott of Ellijay; stepbrother, Donnie Blocker; and granddaughter, Melody Huskins.
To honor Mr. Scott's wishes, he will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
Bernhardt Funeral Home of Ellijay is entrusted with these arrangements.
