Mr. Barry Jason Waldrup

Talladega-Mr. Barry Jason Waldrup, 56, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Mr. Waldrup loved the outdoors, being in the mountains, fishing, working on cars, mud riding and helping others. He especially loved his family. He is preceded in death by his father: Donald Waldrup; 1 daughter: Heather Waldrup; 1 brother: Michael Waldrup; grandparents: Aline and Sam Bates; Mr. and Mrs. Waldrup. He is survived by his mother: Patricia Waldrup; Wife: Stephanie Renee Waldrup; 1 daughter: Ashley McDonald; 4 grandchildren: Tristen Gunter, Dakota Davis, Jaidyn Davis, Kenzley McDonald; 2 brothers: Brandon Ray Ealdrup, Christian Waldrup; best friend: Sidney Mitchell; multiple nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 5:30pm-8:00pm in the Talladega Funeral Home Chapel for visitation. The funeral service will be on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 2:00pm in the chapel at the funeral home with Rev. Otis Graves officiating. Burial will be at Midway Memory Gardens with Grady Spurling, Dakota Davis, Matthew Spurling, Christian Waldrup, Willis Mitchell, Brandon Glenn, Michael Woodard, Langston Rush, Kevin Waldrup, Larry Dalton Bowman and Tristin Gunter serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Spurling and Brandon Waldrup. Talladega Funeral Home will direct the service.
