Barr was always a friendly, welcoming host during my many visits to Washington, DC. I´ll miss his voice in my life.

Mr. Hacker it was a pleasure being your aide for the last past 9mos. You are an amazing smart and very kind man You will truly be missed. I will always remember your smile and all the stories you shared. Thank you for always making me smile when I was down and always saying thank you . You are an amazing wonderful and I hope yo soul is at rest . Until we meet again.

I have known many well-read people, but Bart was one who matched that achievement with a willingness and the sheer pleasure of sharing his learning with me, all with a fine sense of humor. His synergy with Margaret was amazing, and I miss them both.

Bart was a scholar, poet, soldier, and beer connoisseur. He was a true intellectual who loved Margaret and a good meal.

Mr. Hacker was such a joy when I worked with him at BayWoods, he was always smiling despite everything. Sending prayers and my deepest condolences to his family.
