Mr. Basil Barnard

Basil Barnard Born May 6, 1930 in Cave Creek, Texas and went home to meet the Lord on March 14, 2014 at his home in Seagoville, Texas at the age of 83. Preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Veda Barnard. Survived by his wife of 63 years Sarah Barnard, son Lonnie Barnard and wife Vicky, daughter Brenda Brandstetter and husband Joel, daughter Pam Pipins and husband Lynn, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 on the way, brothers Otis Barnard, Billy Barnard and wife Pearl, Edward Barnard and wife Virginia, Harold Barnard and wife Judy, sister Mary Churnesky, and his children and brothers and sisters in the Lord. Basil served his Country faithfully in the US Army and was also a Deacon at First Baptist Church and served in the Bus Ministry for many years. Family will receive friends from 2-4 PM on Sunday March 16, 2014 at Roselawn. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Monday March 17, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Seagoville with Dr. Don Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens where he will be laid to rest in the Garden of Roses. In lieu of flowers please make donations to First Baptist Church Bus Ministry.
