Bea Tilley Sutton, age 85, of Rosboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
She was born on September 15, 1940 in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Bea was the daughter of Fred Tilley and Loraine Congleton Tilley. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Freddy Tilley.
Bea married the love of her life, Phillip, on July 1, 1960. Together, they raised their four children who, along with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, were Bea's entire world. She had a work ethic like no other. She worked as a counselor and educator at Amity, Glenwood, Centerpoint, and Kirby Schools. She was a loyal member of the Community Methodist Church of Amity. She loved traveling, shopping, and especially loved her garden. Bea was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Sutton of Rosboro; her four children and their spouses, Dean and Lisa Sutton of Rosboro, Pam and Mark Foshee of Kirby, Dale and Joanna Sutton of Rosboro, and Jimmy and Aimee Sutton of Rosboro; her grandchildren, Laci (Wes), LeeAllen (Dallas), Logan (Rachel), Shelby (Peyton), Pake (Kayla), Parker (Victoria), Anna, Harrison, Sydney, and Clayton (Grace); her great-grandchildren, Landon, Alexis, Aspyn, Annslee, Laney Jo, Tuf, Tilley, Stetson, Elias, Abbott, and two great-granddaughters on the way, Janie and Anna; her special friend, Amy Clark; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, LeeAllen Sutton, Pake Sutton, Logan Foshee, Parker Sutton, Harrison Sutton, Clayton Hanney, Peyton Frachiseur, and Wes Patton.
Visitation will be held prior to services on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel- Glenwood with Bro. Glen Harris and Bro. David Kassos officiating.
Interment will be held at Coker Cemetery.
