Beatrice Mae "Bea" Bistodeau, 93, of Cambridge, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at her home at Levande by Vivie in Cambridge.

She was born March 1, 1932, in Rugby, North Dakota, to Joseph and Margaret (Jundt) Schiff. Bea grew up in Rugby, graduating from Rugby High School.

After graduating from Rugby High School, she embarked on a new chapter of her life, marrying the love of her life, Leon Bistodeau, on June 2, 1952, in Velva, North Dakota. The couple's journey together began in their home state before they ventured to a new life in Minnesota. Bea and Leon settled in Braham, where they raised six boys.

She contributed many years working in food service at the Cambridge Regional Center. Bea's commitment to her community was further exemplified through her active membership at Christ The King Catholic Church in Cambridge. Bea's faith was a cornerstone of her life.

Bea has joined her beloved husband Leon; grandson, Nicholas Bistodeau; great-granddaughter, Berkley Bistodeau; daughters-in-law, Linda Bistodeau and Annette Bistodeau; her sisters, Phyllis Selzler, Viola Lemieux, Judy Johnson; and brothers, Robert, Daniel, Joseph, and Jerome Schiff, in eternal rest.

Bea is survived by sons, Donald, Mark (Berta), Bruce (Dede), Joe, Jim, and Bradley (Marci) Bistodeau; 12 grandchildren;19 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; sisters, Delores Nichols and Sally Davis; brothers, LeRoy, Jim, and George Schiff, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Levande by Vivie and Ecumen Hospice in North Branch for their compassionate care and support during Bea's final days.

Mass of Christian Burial 11AM, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Christ The King Catholic Church in Cambridge. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment in the parish cemetery.
