Beatrice Bukoski Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Britton-Wallace Funeral Home - Auburn on Jul. 29, 2024.
AUBURN – Beatrice A. Bukoski, 83, longtime Auburn resident, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
She leaves her loving siblings, Peter E. Bukoski and his wife Ann Bukoski of Worcester and Judith D. Daniels and her husband William T. Daniels of Sturbridge; as well as three nephews, three nieces and fourteen grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Edmund A. Bukoski and Jeannette B. (Robitaille) Bukoski.
Beatrice was born and raised in Worcester. Throughout the years she spent many summer months at the family home in Wareham and wintered in Saint Petersburg, Florida with her parents.
Beatrice was a happy free spirit and did most things "her way" Many days she entertained herself by doing the crossword puzzles, as well as playing scrabble, or reading a good book. She had a sweet tooth, never refusing a dessert or ordering wonderful take-out food.
Beatrice was a faithful parishioner of Saint Joseph's Church of Auburn, where she enjoyed being active with the seniors taking several trips with them. She was also a frequent bingo player at the Auburn Senior Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, (stjude.org) or to Veterans Inc.(veteransinc.org).
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Beatrice's family for a calling hour on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street North, Auburn. One of our favorite things we enjoyed doing is playing cards. She especially enjoyed rummy and was very good at it. She loved to win and more often than not she did win. If for some reason she lost she would always say one mor hand.
