Yesterday

As I read this tribute to Beatrice, I realized that I had personal experience with so much of what was said. I remember her bringing flowers every Sunday to Church, but they were fresh cut flowers, not silk. This was, at least, any time flowers were in bloom. She probably brought silk flowers when fresh flowers were not blooming.

I know she brought meals to people, and took special care of the elderly and shut-ins. She took meals to my Aunt Ella (I think) on a daily basis, and she was the one who found her in her home after Aunt Ella passed-again, with a meal in hand to provide her. When Carolyn and I lived briefly in town, Beatrice brought us tomatoes from her garden.

I also vouch for her talent in telling Bible stories in a very riveting way. She was my Sunday School teacher at church-probably the first Sunday School teacher I remember. She was exceptionally good at teaching and telling Bible stories. So her influence extended to others of us in the community, not only to her immediate family.

I want to express my condolences to all of her children and family-my friends. The memory of your mother will live long in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.
With kind regards and sincere sympathy,
Rob and Carolyn McIntosh
