Bea and I grew up in the same neighborhood in Sylvania Ohio. We were in the Girl Scout troop and went to the same grade and high school . She encouraged me to go to Flower Hospital School of Nursing and we both graduated in 1971. I lost contact with her after she went into the Navy. Bea was a wonderful person. She had a positive outlook on life and always helpful. I remember her baking cookies for the patients during our rotation at Toledo State Hospital. They patients were always glad to see her. She treated everyone with respect and love. I am sorry I was unable to catch up with her before her death.

Jerry, we are holding your family in our thoughts and prayers. Bea was a delightful lady and friend. I am so sorry she got such a devastating illness and it gradually took her away from her loved ones. I remember the good times we had and hold those thoughts dear to my heart. RIP, Bea. Jerry, she was blessed to have such a wonderful and loving husband.
