Today is Mother's Day 2022 and I was visiting my Mother-In-Law's gravesite. I was shocked to see a sign in front of the plot that I visit that said Beatrice Roux. As a youngster growing up the Roux family lived behind us in Westford. When Mrs. Roux as I knew her worked as a Librarian at North Middle and at Westford Academy for a short time, I became very close to her. I would go visit her in her Westford home when I could. We had a close friendly relationship. This is why I was shocked to see that she had passed. We would always have nice conversations of the past and of the times that I would visit with her. My Heart is aching right now. I will remember the good times that we had together while she was on this Earth. I do remember the times that she had the greenhouse, and she would bring me in there to show me the different plants and flowers. When I was younger, she would give me some fresh Rhubarb and my mother would make yummy recipes with it. I remember we used to have Rhubarb cake that was delicious. One other thing that connects us is when I was younger my brother took Organ lessons with her daughter Maryann. Everytime I went for a visit Bea would always ask how Karen is doing. I will forever miss my friend Mrs. Roux. I was just thinking I wanted to give a call and see if I could come for a visit as I haven't seen her since the Pandemic started, but we did keep in touch sending each other news in cards.
