Beaupine Una Morton Withrow, age 85, of Marion went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in
Forest City, NC.
Beaupine was born December 23, 1937, in Moore County, NC to the late William Everette Morton and Mildred Kathryn Parnell Morton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, MAJ Robert E. "Bob" Withrow; her second husband, Boyd Dickenson Searcy; one brother, Keith Morton; and one sister, Ramona Purcer.
Beaupine always saw things through the eyes of an artist and added color to the palette of life with everyone she came in contact with. She was inspired by her Heavenly Father to notice and capture the beauty, color, and wonder of nature. She was most content pulling weeds from her garden, creating personal cards of encouragement for others, learning and teaching new things (quilting, painting, and cooking), and most of all loving her family and covering them in prayer every day.
Those left behind to cherish Beaupine's memory are three beloved children, Joseph Eric Withrow (Dee Ann) of
Fort Worth, TX, Kenneth Lloyd Withrow (Carolyn) of
Canton, TX, and Kathryn Withrow McKinney (Loren) of
Marion, NC; eleven wonderful grandchildren, Ryan ( Madison), Candace, Paul, Ethan, Alix (Patrick), Moira (David), Dara, Ian, Aaron (Amy), Jenna, and Kendall; two precious great grandchildren, Lennox and Saber, with one more great grandchild on the way; one sister, Joyce Garris of Denton, NC; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Friday, October 13, 2023, in the chapel of Westmoreland Funeral Home in Marion. A funeral service to celebrate Beaupine's life will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Dr. Jerry Lewis officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pleasant Gardens Baptist Church Cemetery.
