Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home - Worthington on Sep. 19, 2024.
Becky Sue (Vogel) Ansari finished her earthly journey at 9:03 AM on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 and departed to be with Jesus Christ her Savior. Becky was born on October 24, 1973, in Columbus, Ohio and was the cherished daughter of Roger and Mary Vogel, beloved sister to John, Anne and Mark and devoted mother to her two children, Jordan and Ella. Becky was united in marriage to Aaron in August 2000, a union blessed with many joyful years.
Becky completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 and dedicated her life to caring for others as the head school nurse at Dublin City Schools. Becky's warmth, compassion, and unwavering dedication made her a cornerstone of the academic community and a role model to many within the Dublin Schools System.
Becky was a devout Christian, finding strength and solace in her faith. She served as Berean Bible Church's pianist and was involved in countless other church activities, reflecting her deep commitment to her spiritual community. She dedicated many decades of service to the Ministry through music, children's church, community service, and church holiday productions. Additionally, she served as the primary interior church caretaker for decades.
Her passions extended to gardening, hiking, and spending time at the beach, embracing the beauty of nature and the outdoors. An avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, Becky enjoyed cheering for her team in every season. Becky was a gifted baker, known for her delicious banana bread, which she lovingly prepared with her children and shared with friends and family during the holidays. She was also the caretaker in her Cavalry Court community, always ensuring her neighbors (and their pets) felt connected and cared for.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and nurturing, survived by her children, Jordan and Ella; ex-husband, Aaron; siblings, John (Molly) Vogel, Anne Vogel, and Mark (Christy) Vogel; parents, Roger and Mary; and her 17 nieces and nephews. Becky will also be fondly remembered by her faithful dog, Sammie Pants, who was a constant and loving presence in her life.
Rutherford Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Friends and family are invited to share memories of Becky with her family from 5:30pm-8:30pm on September 23rd at Berean Bible Church, 7541 Dublin Road, Dublin, Ohio. The family will be holding a private burial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made via check to "The Becky Ansari Memorial Scholarship Fund", a new scholarship created for prospective nursing students in remembrance of Becky's compassionate spirit and lifelong dedication to helping others through nursing.
Becky's memory will forever be a beacon of kindness, love, and warmth in the hearts of all who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Becky. You will be deeply missed.
