BECKYE GENENE CLEMMONS PENDERGRAFF, age 84, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the home of her granddaughter following an extended illness. Ms. Pendergraff was born in Anderson, Ala., to the late Joseph Zack Clemmons and Louise Baker Clemmons Moses. She was a member of the Mt. Juliet Church of God since 1994. Ms. Pendergraff was employed at a few different jobs during her working years but was last employed as a clerk for a dry cleaners in Nashville for approximately 20 years before her retirement that is no longer in business. She was a loving, sweet kindhearted person that dearly loved her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell A. Pendergraff, daughter, Lisa Louise Cottles, sons: Joe Cottles and Ronald Gene Cottles and 11 deceased siblings. She is survived by her sons: Brandon Cottles and wife, Jennifer of Lexington, Ala., Johnny Cottles and Larry Fayo both of Winchester, Tenn., 11-grandchildren, 33-great-grandchildren and 2-great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Betty Goolsby and Iner King both of Ala., step-daughters; Shannon Allison, Amber Brandonburg and Tiffany White all of Nashville, Tenn.
Visitation for Ms. Pendergraff will be held from 12:00 Noon until service time at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 23, 2024, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Pastor Don Baker, officiating.
Interment will be held at Springhill Cemetery in Nashville, Tenn., where she will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Darrell Pendergraff, with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
