Belinda Francis McCoy, passed away on March 24, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on October 2, 1966, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Elmer Dority Jr. and Betty, Belinda dedicated her life to caring for others through her work in the daycare and home health industries, touching the lives of many with her compassion and kindness.
A proud graduate of Gans High School, Belinda was deeply rooted in her community and faith, attending Gans Bible Church regularly. Her passions extended beyond her professional life; she cherished spending time with her grandchildren, finding joy in their laughter and presence. Belinda found solace and happiness in the outdoors, often fishing and camping at Marvel Camp in Gore, Oklahoma. Additionally, she enjoyed visiting casinos and valued the time spent in warm fellowship with friends and family.
Belinda is survived by her beloved sons, Luke Thompson of Muldrow, OK, and Braxton Stimson of Georgia; her sisters, Teresa Harvell and husband, Carliss, and Morgan Crow, all of Muldrow, Oklahoma; lifelong friends, Melinda Lasiter and Cathy Owens; and her grandchildren, Bobby Lee-Wayne Thompson, Johnny Wiler Thompson, Nick Callerman, and Deagon Callerman.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Junior Dority and Betty Crow; her sisters, Teresa Youngblood, Nora Hayes, and Sue Montgomery; her brothers Tommy Dority, James Dority, and John Dority, her step-dad Mitch Crow; and her step-mom, Polly Dority.
Belinda’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will be treasured by all who knew her. Her spirit will live on in the memories of her family, friends, and the many lives she touched with her kindness. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion that will not be forgotten.
