Belinda Slobodien Obituary
We are heartbroken to announce that Belinda Faye Slobodien, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on February 23, 1956, in Modesto, CA, the daughter of John Wayne and Wanda Whitehead. Belinda brought warmth and kindness to everyone she met.
Belinda spent her life dedicated to her family. She is survived by her husband, Edward Slobodien, Sr., her children, John Wayne (Candace) Anderson, Nova (Ronnie) Anderson, and Edward “Bubba” Slobodien, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jordan (Bailey) Anderson, Brett Slobodien, Ashley Anderson, Kyndal Slobodien, Zack Slobodien, Kambrie Anderson; great-grandkids, Willow Anderson, Cash Webb, and Carter Webb; and her siblings, Edwina Cason, and Keithy Whitehead.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Wanda Lindley Whitehead; her siblings, Darriel Whitehead, Randall Whitehead, and Melissa Blaylock; and by her niece, Chalise Whitehead.
Visitation will be held at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home on June 6, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will take place at Pleasant Valley Cemetery on June 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM, where she will be laid to rest.
She may be gone from our sight, but she will forever remain in our hearts. Belinda's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
