Belinda Gay Stone of Potosi, Missouri, was born on June 23, 1962, in Ironton, Missouri, a daughter of the late Charles Leon Bone and Anna Mae (Richards) Bone. Belinda departed this life on Monday, November 24, 2025, at her home, having reached the age of 63.
On December 16, 1978, Belinda was united in marriage to Lester Stone Jr., and together they shared nearly forty-seven years of love, partnership, and devotion. Their life together was filled with family, hard work, and countless cherished memories.
Belinda is survived by her loving husband, Lester “JR” Stone; three children: Shannon (Willie) Skaggs, Lester “Trey” (Sara) Stone, and Brandon (Angel) Stone; and her nine adored grandchildren: Nelson, Colton, Addison, James, Lydia, Jayden, Kaylee, Gavin, and Paisley.
She is also survived by her siblings: Marty (Theresa) Bone, Kathy Meister, Storie Lynn (Dan) Orta, Steve “Beaver” Bone, Mark (Kelly) Bone, and April Bone; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kevin and Karen Stone; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Belinda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Anna Mae Bone; two siblings, Cindy (Eddie) Johnston and Patrick Bone; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lester Sr. and Neva June Stone.
Belinda will be remembered for her warm heart, her unwavering love for her family, and the joy she found in being a wife, mom, mama, sister, and friend. Her kindness, strength, and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her.
A time of visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 4:30 PM until the time of her Memorial Service at 6:30 PM, held at DeClue Funeral Home.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love will continue to live on through the many lives she influenced. Mrs. Stone's funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
