Ben Anjima Obituary
Ben John Anjima living in Athol, ID for the past 19+ years, passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 72 in the loving arms of his wife, Babs (Barb), of 32 years and nephew Matt. Ben enjoyed a life well lived, highly regarded, and respected while serving others with three years as an army corpsman and thirty-one years as a police officer with Miami Dade Police Department. Throughout his career he earned many commendations including the Metro-Dade Police Department Gold Medal of Valor. Ben will be dearly missed; he is survived by his wife Babs, two puppies, Ragnar and Raven, two kitties, Miss Kitty and Shadow, eight brothers and sisters-in-laws, and many, many beautiful and amazing nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Ben’s memory to one of his favorite charities would be deeply appreciated.

Ben will be laid to rest at Washington State Veterans Cemetery.
