Ben Johnson Obituary
He was a member of the Tallapoosa Baptist Church and First Southern Baptist Church in Tallapoosa, MO.
Ben loved his children and was proud of their accomplishments. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Mr. Johnson died Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at his residence in Puxico, MO, at the age of 42 years.
Ben was survived by his children Riley and Emma Johnson of Cape Girardeau; his parents Randy and Sue DeProw of Tallapoosa; one grandfather, Russell DeProw of Tallapoosa; two brothers Randy Shane (and KaLee) DeProw of Tallapoosa; Jacob DeProw of Cape Girardeau Missouri; one sister Ashley DeProw of Brownsville Texas; two nieces Kadon Grace and KynLee Faith DeProw; four nephews Landon DeProw, Jaylon Stros, Axton and Athon Kalifa and a host of other friends and relatives.
He was proceeded in death by grandparents Charlie Gale and Shirley Johnson and Glenda DeProw. As well as two cousins, Matt Winchester and KaLee Johnson.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Gideon, MO. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M., at the church, with Brother Ray Shreckengost officiating.
