Benita Rose Luciani

Our beloved mother, Benita Rose Luciani, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at the age of 57 from an unexpected illness. She was the heart and soul of our family, a colorful character who added a little bit of spice to the lives of everyone who knew her. She devoted her life to raising her two wonderful children, whom she considered to be her pride and joy.

Benita is survived by children Joshua Hill (Emily Fioretti) and Christina Hill (Cassy Denton), fiancé Mark Fortebraccio, and lifelong friend Galen Hill. A wonderful sister to Sonia and Jeanie; nieces Nichole, Heather, Jessica, Sarah and nephew David. She will be welcomed in the lights of heaven by her father, Jaun Perez, and mother, Sarah (Askins) Perez.

Benita was known for her amazing artistic abilities like taking expert photographs without even trying or coloring in such detail that it looked like a photograph. If she wasn't enjoying the outdoors, you would find her listening to music while "winning" at BINGO and Pokeno. People would talk about her feisty spirit and sharp wit; finding that Benita was NEVER afraid to speak her mind. Her fiery passion for the love of her family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Arrangements are being handled by Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, LLP, Pine Avenue Branch. In accordance with Benita's wishes, no viewing or services will be held. Before she passed, she instructed the family that there should be a Celebration of Life party held at a later date and time. This will be announced via social media.
