Bennie Lorraine Naquin, age 89, passed away peacefully on November 8th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in 1935 in Cañones, New Mexico, and later made her home in Santa Fe. It was there she met and married the love of her life, Melvin O. Naquin. Together, they settled in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where they built a beautiful life and raised their family.
Bennie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness and love touched everyone who knew her. She is survived by her children Pamela, Mel Jr., and Peggy, along with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin O. Naquin, her first-born daughter, Norma Jean Naquin, and her numerous brothers and sisters.
Bennie will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her strength, and the unconditional love she showed to her family. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
