Benito Rico-Romero Obituary
Benito Rico-Romero, una figura querida y un querido miembro de la familia, falleció el 13 de octubre de 2025, a la edad de 87 años. Nacido el 26 de julio de 1938, Benito enriqueció la vida de todos los que lo conocieron con su amabilidad, calidez y espíritu inquebrantable.

A Benito le sobreviven sus hijos, Enrique Rico-Hernández y su esposa Eustolia Rico-Arellano, Federico Rico-Hernández y su esposa Ángela López-Rico; sus hijas, Ana Rico-Hernández y su esposo Anastasio López-Fernández, María Septiembre Rico y su esposo Armando Franco, y Santa Isabele Rico-Hernández; y veinte nietos, que también continúan con su legado.
La celebración de la vida de Benito se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Smith Family en Hot Springs, Arkansas. Benito Rico-Romero, a beloved figure and cherished family member, passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on July 26, 1938, Benito enriched the lives of all who knew him with his kindness, warmth, and unwavering spirit.
He was predeceased by his devoted wife, Seferina Rico-Hernandez. Benito also mourned the passing of his parents, Facundo Rico and Camila Romero, his sister, Selsa Rico-Romero, and his brother Abraham Rico-Romero.
Benito is survived by his sons, Enrique Rico-Hernandez and his wife Eustolia Rico-Arellano, Federico Rico-Hernandez and his wife Angela Lopez-Rico; his daughters, Ana Rico-Hernandez and her husband Anastasio Lopez-Fernandez, Maria Consepsion Rico and her husband Armando Franco, and Santa Isabele Rico-Hernandez; and twenty grandchildren, that also carry on his legacy.
The celebration of Benito's life will be held at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on October 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Following this, a funeral service will commence at 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM. The address is 2205 Airport Road, Hot Springs, AR, 71913.
Benito Rico-Romero will be remembered fondly by all who knew him and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
