EAST HAMPTON - Benjamin Joseph Bellus Jr., 65, departed this life on January 31, 2022 at Middlesex Hospital. Benjamin was born in Stamford, Connecticut on April 9, 1956 to the late Benjamin and Helen (Kurakowski) Bellus Sr.
In his lifetime, Benny, as he was affectionately known, enjoyed riding his motorcycle cross country and traveling up north with his brother, Paul. He spent his life making friends and memories everywhere he went. He was a man that enjoyed the simple things in life, like too much coffee, doing things with his own two hands and making others smile and laugh. Benny was a good man and a great father. He will be truly missed and never forgotten.
Benjamin is predeceased by his older brother Richard Bellus and is survived by his devoted brother Paul Bellus; his sister Nancy Beekley (Ted); his loving daughter Ashley Nelson (Thomas); his granddaughter Aubrey and his nephew Scott Beekley (Dawn).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Benny on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm Street, Wallingford. To leave a message of remembrance, please visit www.BaileyCares.com.
