I am heart broken to learn about the loss of Ben just yesterday. A few of us from the USS Mount Whitney get together every Friday and he is often talked about with fondness and laughter. We had no idea he had passed in 2018. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of Ben. My sincerest condolences.

I worked briefly with Ben when he was here at RH Sheppard. He was a very respectful and humble individual. It was a pleasure to work with him during the time he was here.

So sorry to hear of Ben's passing. It was a pleasure working with him at WellSpan. Ben will always be remembered for his contribution with determining patients having sepsis or are at risk. He made a difference in this world. I hope his children will grow up knowing what a special person he was. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

To Ben's family and friends,
I am so so sorry to hear this news. I met Ben through work. As a remote worker from the West coast, communication with onsite staff can sometimes be challenging. Having only recently come to know Ben, we connected quickly and easily about our shared projects. I enjoyed his honest insights and intelligent thoughts and ideas. I really enjoyed working with him.

I worked with Ben at Wellspan, he was a bright, pleasant and hard working young man. We all loved him and enjoyed working with him. He loved his family and always spoke fondly of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers; hoping that you find peace in your happy memories.

In working with Ben closely over the past year, I always looked forward to having conversations with him. Although he was highly intelligent, he seemed to have an innate ability to take complex topics that would be difficult to understand for many and simplify the concepts to an approachable level.

We often exchanged opinions and ideas while working together to make difficult decisions. His points of view on various topics were always well thought out and backed by wisdom, experience, passion and humor. Even though we both spent many years in our field of choice, I learned and adopted new practices through learning some of his discipline and mastery of skills.

Ben, loves God and his family. My heart goes out to his wife, children and all that know the wonderful experiences he has brought to us.
