As a resident of Carteret Landing, Ben and I shared a table in the dining room daily for lunch and dinner. Most of our conversations were about his earlier years in and around Beaufort. There were others who enjoyed his presence in the living room as we waited for meals to be served. God bless you Ben, and you touched our lives.
