Benjamin Jeffrey Gilbertson, 26, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Graham, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church of Graham, with Charlie Bazan officiating.
Benjamin was born on January 12, 1999, to Jannie (Bartley) and Jeffrey Gilbertson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Willis and Nona Bartley of Burkburnett, Texas.
He is survived by his parents, Jannie Gilbertson of Graham and Jeffrey Gilbertson of Killeen, Texas; his brother, Daniel Gilbertson of Fort Worth, Texas; and his sister, Rebekah Gilbertson of Graham. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Keith and Barbara Gilbertson of Belton, Texas, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.
Benjamin had a deep love for sports of every kind — both playing and watching. Whether it was football, basketball, or baseball, he found joy in the game. His all-time favorite team was the Texas Rangers, and he rarely missed a chance to cheer them on.
Benjamin will be remembered for his kind heart, his gentle spirit, and the joy and laughter he shared with his family and friends.
A memorial fund for Benjamin has been set up through Morrison Funeral Home.
