Benjamin A. Gregory (Benji) Jr., age 65, of White Pine passed away Monday, September 29, 2025. He was born December 11, 1959. Preceded in death by: parents, Benjamin (Buddy) Gregory, Sr. and Regina Gregory. He leaves behind, daughter, Alesha Wilson; son, James Gregory; grandchildren, Sahnia, Taliayah, Korbin Wilson, and Holland Gregory, Macaylin and Madilyn Gregory; sisters, Valiere (Glen), Charlotte (Jeremy), and Sylvia; ex-wife, Rhonda Reed (The past few years she had kept her vow they once said I Do. She helped her children the best she could in the care of Ben.); several nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to thank Randal and Nicole for their love and help. We will be forever grateful. During these past few years this group of people have been our backbone of our father…. IBEW 760, Tim Oaks, Dude, Flo, and Peyton. I know there have been several of you all reach out, pray, and just listen. You all loved my father for his “Spark of Life” he left you all with 100% grateful you all were there. Family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Smith Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Morganton Cemetery with Tim Oaks officiating. There will be a meal at the Greenback Community Center immediately following the graveside service.
