Benjamin A. Haberman

age 78 of Lyndhurst, OH, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Beloved husband of 49 years to Lorraine A. Haberman (nee Deacon); dearest father of Sean and Jesse (Gina); loving grandfather of Caidyn, Madilyn and Vivian, and Marissa and Beau; dear brother of Beverly, Sheldon and Eileen; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Born in Donora, PA to Harry and Lillian, Ben was a sports guy through and through. From playing collegiate football to officiating for high school football/umpiring for high school baseball, Ben could talk sports with anyone (even Browns fans). Living in Cleveland and being an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan didn't phase Ben at all. In fact, he proudly waived his Terrible Towel throughout each winning season.
Ben retired as a salesman in the Plumbing Industry where he made countless friends along the way. He enjoyed his weekly golf leagues, walking the block with Lorrie, handing out treats to any dog passing by and spending time with his friends and family.
We will miss his jokes, his smile and his genuine kindness.
