Benjamin R Thomas, 49, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at his home in Fort Wayne. He was a native and lifetime resident of Fort Wayne, IN, Benjamin previously worked at Kmart, Rogers Grocery and was currently employed at Steak and Shake for 6 years. Surviving are his mother, Shirley M (Gerald) Warner of Fort Wayne, IN sisters, Ruth (Oscar III) Heintzelman, Rebecca (John Croy) Thomas, brothers, Kevin Thomas, Ken (Theresa) Thomas all of Fort Wayne, IN; 11 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews . Benjamin was preceded in death by father, James K Thomas and a sister in law Carolyn Thomas. Service is 10:00 am, Monday, January 8, 2018 at- D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior. Calling also Sunday, January 7, 2018, from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
