Benjamin Caleb Wall

Benjamin Caleb Wall, infant son of Marcus and Laura Wall, passed away on March 6, 2026.

In addition to his parents, Benjamin is survived by his siblings, Malachi, Eleanor, and Gavin Wall; maternal grandparents, Richard and Diane Rogers; paternal grandparents, Mike and Jenny Wall; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his sisters Clover and Lily Grace.

There are no words to express the pain of a loss of a child. Death was never supposed to be a fact of life, but even in this aberration there are degrees of wrongness. We can somewhat accept the loss of a parent, because they preceded us in all things. The loss of a child is wrong on top of wrongness, a tessellation of ‘this should not be.’

In this time of twisted grief and profound loss, the family would like to thank all those who have shown love and support. We would be adrift in pain had it not been for the loving souls who anchored us by kind words, acts, and prayer. It is both not enough, and far more than we deserve. Thank you.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Gilead Methodist Church, 4736 Mt. Gilead Church Road in Trinity with Pastor Norman Weeks officiating.
