Bennie is preceded in death by his parent Bennie Tolbert Sr. and Onie Tolbert. A sister Gloria Lee and brother JW Tolbert.
He is survived by his wife Jackie Tolbert; son Bennie "Trey" Tolbert III, daughter Connie Walker; Grandchildren Marceles Tolbert, Steffani and Makayla Walker; a host of family and friends.
Bennie was a captain at Jacksonville Police Department for thirty-three years before he retired. He enjoyed riding horses and fishing when he had the time. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Per Bennie's request there will not be a service.
