He was born in Pueblo Pintado, NM, his parents were Tim Frank Yazzie and Alice Mae Chee. He enjoyed car shows, bike rallies, and attending Church services. He loved to listen to his rock and Christian music. Bennie loved to watch wrestling, and enjoyed the company of his grandchildren. The holidays were his favorite time of the year, especially being around his loved ones. Bennie is preceded in death by his loving wife, Genevieve Yazzie. His parents Tim F Yazzie and Alice M Chee. He is also preceded in death by his brothers James Yazzie and Ned Chee. Bennie is survived by his sons, Bennie Yazzie Jr, Benjamin Yazzie, Brennan Yazzie, and Steve Crawford Jr. His daughters, Olivia Lopez, Brunhilda Yazzie, Brunetta Yazzie, and Briana Yazzie. His brother, Henry Yazzie. His sisters, Sarah Yazzie, Sadie Yazzie, Rosemary Yazzie, Shirley Yazzie, and Rosita Yazzie. His grandchildren, Shavonne Chee, Rashaun Yazzie, Aiden Yazzie, Omari Yazzie, Damien Yazzie, Kalena Wells, Kendrick Wells, Riah Garcia, Moriyah Garcia, Brian Garcia, Avary Yazzie, Marcus Yazzie, Jesiah Sandoval, Malakhi Kelewood, and lastly Daelano Benally.
