Benny Ray Moyer

Benny Ray Moyer, 74, passed away on September 11, 2025, in Akron, Ohio. Born on February 28, 1951, in Ohio, Benny lived a life grounded in quiet dedication and unwavering presence within his community.
For over four decades, Benny worked steadfastly at Cargill Salt, building a career marked by reliability and commitment. His enduring service was more than a livelihood-it was a reflection of his steadfast character and the pride he took in honest work.
Benny's heart belonged to his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pamela Moyer (Lane), and their daughter, Darlene Rothemund (Moyer). He also mourned the earlier losses of his parents, Ronald and Vergi Moyer (Alexander), and brothers Kenny and Ronnie Moyer.
Left to honor his memory are his sons, Dustin and Benny, along with their children. His cherished granddaughter Roxanna Perkins and grandson Jeremiah Falkenberg will carry forward his legacy alongside numerous great-grandchildren. His sisters Donna Merrell and Sandy Hudkins, sister-in-law Vicki Branch, and many nieces and nephews will remember him with love.
Benny's spirit was one of generosity and quiet strength. Those who knew him felt the depth of his care-a man whose devotion to family echoed through every gesture. Though he has departed this world, the imprint of his kindness endures in those whose lives he touched.
