Benny Mack Waddle, 74, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at The Leeper House at Traceway Assisted Living Center in Tupelo. He was born on April 7, 1951 in Lee County, MS to parents Earl Laverne Waddle and Ethel (Beam) Waddle. He married the love of his life Sharon (Riley) Waddle, they were married over 47 years. They owned and operated Riley's Dairy Bar in Nettleton for over 30 years, to which many people from all over enjoyed. He enjoyed fishing, watching MS State sports and watching his grandchildren play ball. He was a member of Crosspointe Fellowship Church in Nettleton. Benny Mack loved his town and his church and enjoyed serving both. His love for God impacted friends, family and community. He was a faithful servant of God his life was a testament to his grace and love. He lived out his faith daily, a true disciple of Christ. His favorite passtime was sharing the warmth of Jesus and love with everyone he met.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Crosspointe Fellowship Church in Nettleton with Bro. Tommy Ray Dabbs officiating. Burial will be in New Chapel Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm prior to service at the church.
He is survived by one daughter, Bridgett (Waddle) Smith (Jamie), 3 grandchildren Evan, Max and Josie Smith, one sister, Dorothy Hare (the late Curtis Wayne Hare), 2 sister-in-laws, Martha Dove (the late Charles Dove), Gail Humble (Stevie) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was prececed in death by his parents,his wife, 3 sisters, Linda Montague, Carolyn Moran (the late Tommy Moran), Peggy Parker (the late J.C. Parker), brother-in-law, Billy Wayne Riley and sister-in-law, Kay Cayson (the late Jimmy Cayson).
Pallbearers will be Stevie Humble, Ty Humble, Tyler Humble, Wes Riley, Chester Stasko and Mike Hare.
