Berlinda Jeffers Obituary
Mrs. Berlinda Lockley Jeffers, age 75, of Richmond, departed this life on September 19, 2025. She is preceded in death by one son, Benjamin Lockley Sr. and her mother, Rosetta Brown Lockley. She is survived by one daughter, Bianca Green (Michael); six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, among them Jerome "Duck" Brown; one daughter- in-law, Lashawn Lockley; one sister-in-law, Lutricia Lockley; other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Jeffers can be viewed on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and where the family will also receive friends from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown and Rev. Ricardo Brown, Pastors. Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church on Friday, October 3rd at 12:45pm.
