Bernadean Myers, 76 of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on November 26, 2025. Born on June 5, 1949, in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
A proud graduate of Nineveh High School, Bernadean went on to marry the love of her life, Michael Myers, on November 4, 1967, marking the beginning of a journey filled with shared joy and unwavering partnership. She committed herself wholeheartedly to nurturing a warm and welcoming home, which became a gathering place for all who were dear to her.
Bernadean's spirit is carried on by her loving children, Tina Dean (Tony) and Chip Myers (Lisa Myers); her cherished siblings, Alice Faye Poynter (Pat), Donna Sue Wesley (Leroy), Danny Giles (Tammy), Jeannine Myers (Jon), Joyce Rogers (Lew), Ronnie Giles (Jane), and Randy Giles. Her radiant smile and boundless affection will also live on in her adored grandchildren, Joshua Dean (Cheyenne), Caleb Dean (Chelsea), Averie Collins (Daniel), and Ethan Myers, as well as her treasured great-grandchildren, Lainey Dean, Jojo Dean, Coridon Dean, Charli Dean, Coda Dean, Evie Dean, Cooper Collins, and Quinn Collins.
Bernadean's beautiful journey through life found her embracing the joys of camaraderie at her weekly breakfasts at Panera Bread, where she shared laughter and stories with both family and friends. Her love for lounging by the pool was matched only by her delight in the simple pleasure of being surrounded by loved ones.
As a devoted member of the Rocklane Christian Church, her faith was an important aspect of her daily life, guiding her actions and providing solace and strength to those around her. Bernadean will be lovingly remembered for her open heart, her uplifting laughter, and the loving home she created for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; parents, William and Bertha Giles; her sister, Evelyn Duncan; and brothers, Cecil Giles and Hershel Giles.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, December 2nd at Greenwood Cemetery 620 West Main Street, Greenwood, IN.
