Bernadette Meprila Leon, born on January 8, 1928, in Chardonnieres, Haiti, peacefully passed away on November 10 2024, in Bradenton, Florida.
In her 96 years of life, Bernadette was known for her beautiful smile that could light up a room and warm hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Bernadette's journey began in her beloved homeland of Haiti, where she developed a deep appreciation for family, culture, and community. Her spirit and resilience shone brightly, and these qualities continued to define her as she built a life filled with joy and connection.
She is remembered for her large and loving family, who carry on her values and the lessons she imparted with grace, compassion, and understanding. The bonds she forged with her loved ones were a testament to her nurturing nature, fostering a home that was always open and welcoming.
Bernadette is preceded by: her husband, her daughters Bernadette and Benotte, and her son Denes.
