Bernardine Cooper Obituary
Bernardine Cooper was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was marked by a deep appreciation for the simple beauties of the world around her. She found great joy in going to the beach, where she loved walking along the shore and picking up seashells, treasures that reflected her love for nature. Bernardine had a special connection to animals and found peace in the outdoors, always drawn to the calm and comfort it brought her.
Above all else, Bernardine cherished her family. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she took great pride in the time spent with them, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and warmth. Her gentle spirit, caring heart, and love for life's quiet moments will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Bernardine is survived by her husband Ronnie Jones, daughters Kadie (Charles Hedges) Hicks, Crisy (Jim) McNulty, brothers Charles L. (Sherry) Cooper, and Rodney (Pat) Cooper, grandchildren Jimmy, Jacob (Taila), Kody (Autumn), Conner, Cole, Kaleb, Tristan, and Lorilei, and great-grandchildren Laila, Tucker, Calihan, Aisla, Huntleigh, Izak.
Visitation will be held 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Wednsday, February 04, 2026, at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, also at the funeral home. Bernardine's final resting place will be at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to Harrison County Humane Society P.O. Box 861, Cynthiana, KY 41031 or Helping Hounds 122 E Pike Street, Cynthiana, KY 41031. Online condolences can be made at peoplesfuneralhomes.com.
