Bernie was a blessing to all of us, privileged to know her. John and I loved visiting her at her home in Colorado Springs. I enjoyed trips with her brother Phil, Kathy, and Bernie to see Aunt Agnes for birthday Celebrations. Her cousin Buddy Schmid always looked up to Bernie. Heaven is where she's smiling now.
