Bernard Joseph Anderson, resident of the Village of Thornton, IL. Beloved father of Amanda (Dave) Wethington, Anthony (Sally Dolembo) Anderson, Adam (Lisa) Anderson, and Arnie. Loving grandfather of Charlotte, Andrew, Austin, Braxton, and Spencer. Dear former spouse of Mary Ann Anderson. Fond brother of Eddie (Pam) Anderson and Marianne (Tom) Kelly. Cherished son of the late John and Margaret Anderson. Preceded in death by his brother Johnny. Adored uncle to many nieces and nephews. Lifetime member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150.Friends are invited to visit with Bernard's family on Sunday, November 9 from 2:00 - 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ our Savior Catholic Parish (formerly St. Jude Catholic Church), 880 E. 154th St., South Holland, IL. He will be laid to rest near his parents in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Alsip, IL.
