Bernard Colestock Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by All Veterans Funeral & Cremation - Wheat Ridge on May 21, 2024.
Bernard (Bud) Lee Colestock passed on to be with Our Lord on April 29th 2024. He was 93 years old.
Bud was born November 18th 1930 to Elmer and Gladys Colestock of St. Joseph Missouri. His two brothers Elmer (and wife Dorothy) preceded him in death. Bud's younger brother Jon and his wife Joy still reside in St. Joseph.
To Timmie Jane Schones and "Chic" and Marie Colestock, Michelle and Craig Brown and Michael Colestock he was uncle Buddy.
To his innumerable friends he was always Bud.
Bud graduated from Central High in St. Joe and later from KU after studying business and sales. He married Phyllis Jean Myers of Savannah Missouri in 1952 and served in the US Navy as a radarman 3rd class on the USS Everse.
After moving to Salt Lake City Bud and Phyllis adopted a daughter, Cynthia Jean (Cindy) and William Edward (Bill). As a family they lived in numerous states until settling in to Arvada Colorado in 1976.
Bud touched so many lives with pearls of wisdom, advise, and always the ready joke to brighten a day and fill it with laughter. Sales was a perfect arena for his love of people and travel. He absolutely loved any opportunity to be with people. He was a kind man and was always there to listen and help whenever he was needed.
A small family service will be held at Fort Logan Cemetery on June 21st, 2024.
Following this a church service will be held at Community of Grace Presbyterian Church at 7755 Vance Dr. in Arvada, Colorado at 1:00pm on June 21st.
Please, instead of flowers kindly make a donation to the Kidney Foundation or to COPD Research.
