He married his wife Carole April 15, 2012 in Phoenix, AZ. Bernie was an accountant. He served in the United States Army. Bernie was a World War II history buff, especially in regards to aircraft.
Bernie was preceded in death by his parents and 3 uncles.
Bernie is survived by his wife: Carole J Kensy and her son Rodney Goodwin.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Crick-Christians Funeral Home.
A funeral mass will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 26 at St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church, Lindsborg. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Lindsborg, KS.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
