Bernard Knutson Obituary
Bernie was born May 20, 1956, in Oakdale, Minnesota to the late Gilford and Lenore (Rauschnot) Knutson. A graduate of Tartan High School, Bernie furthered his education at Augsburg University, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. He went on to enjoy a fulfilling career as an electrician, dedicating many years to the innovative company 3M, where he served as president of the 3M Club in St. Paul. He had a passion for music, especially guitars, which kept his spirit alive. His creativity shone through not only in his love for baking but also in his passion for working with stained glass.
Surviving are: Fiancé, Pam Savage; Children: Andrea Knutson, Beth Knutson , Corwyn Knutson; Step daughters: Amy (Abel) Santana and Kaitlin (Andrew Von Zellen) Savage; Grandchildren: Meyson, Aydin and Calliope; Siblings: Bruce (Joann) Knutson and Barbara Knutson. He is preceded in passing by his parents, Gilford and Lenore Knutson.

I haven't seen Bernie since high school but remember him as one of the more colorful characters amongst many. May he rest in peace.

Bernie and I have been friends since we met at Eagle Point Elementary 60 some years ago. We reconnected on a more constant basis 10 years ago.
He was a thinker, always analyzing the hot topics and sharing his perspective , leading to deep meaningful conversations. He loved making children happy when he did his Santa gigs.
He loved bee keeping , and making golden honey to share. He had a unique sense of humor, and looked was always looking for the bright spot in life' challenging times , cheering me up when I was stuck in the muck.
Farewell my FRIEND , until we meet again ....
