Bernard Mooney Obituary
Bernard J. Mooney age 81 of Methuen, MA, passed away on September 27, 2025 at Lawrence General Hospital. He was born on April 18, 1944 in Gardner, MA the son of the late, Edward and Lydia (Allain) Mooney.
Bernie had a love for travel and trips to Canada, to visit relatives and friends. He had also done ancestry research back to the 1700's. He enjoyed sharing this research with his relatives and friends. He loved the north country and was a member of the S-Kimos Ski Club and the Ski Club League where he met good friends who enriched his life.

Calling hours are Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 10-11:00 AM at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A Graveside Service will follow the calling hours at 11:30 AM at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.

Sending condolences to Bernie's good neighbours and friends in Methuen. Part of his Canadian family, Bernie was my mothers first cousin and the last true Mooney from that family tree branch. RIP Bernie from Mike Gould, son of Jacqueline (born Mooney), Cocagne, New Brunswick. here is a photo of Bernie visiting our family in Buctouche in the mid 80's
